Make The Play (Nashville Rampage #1) by Kaylee Ryan. Corie has just come home from college, and her brother Landry is giving her a welcome home party with her best friend and his 4 best friends and teammates. Knox knows his best friend’s sister is off limits. However, he can’t seem to get her out of his mind. Corie has had a thing for Knox for years. What started out as a crush has turned into so much more. When Corie and Knox decide to act on their forbidden attraction, they agree on keeping their relationship a secret. Both Corie and Knox are thinking of what could possibly happen if Landry found out they were together. This was a cute story of two people who liked each other but were worried about other’s feelings. Knox is a really good guy. He is dedicated to his best friends and his teammates, as well as his family. No woman has stirred up his feelings like Corie. It has always been Corie and Landry. Now, she has a chance at real love and a large extended family. Yes, it’s a slow burn. The ending was well worth the wait. 4 stars for me.
