Well, these 2 authors know how to satisfy the soul without fail!!! There is a lot of angst in Brock and Februaryโs story, and I loved it! I love when a book leaves me feeling good and Denim and Diamonds certainly did!

Denim and Diamond by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. The dynamic duo has done it again. They just keep telling comical love stories that have me entertained from the beginning to the end. February finds herself at a wellness clinic in the middle of nowhere, far from her corporate job in New York City. After an unfortunate incident that embarrassed not only her but also her company, she is at this clinic to deal with a possible nervous breakdown, according to her board of directors. Instead of embracing her situation, February escapes the facility where she proceeds to drink and eventually wakes up in the bartender/bar owner’s bed. From that point, you know things are going to be interesting. Brock is captivated by the beauty in his bed. It has been a while since anyone has captured his attention. When he finds out the beauty’s story, Brock is not only smitten but determined to help his damsel in distress enjoy her stay. I wasn’t sure where this story was going to go. However, I was truly entertained. Yes , I laughed quite often. But when the past reaches back out to Brock, the story takes a very serious turn. I loved it. Of course Brock is dream come true and his back story is just as interesting. February is a laugh riot. A beauty that has a lot of baggage. I couldn’t get enough of their story. 4.5 stars for me.
