Enzo: A Dark Mafia Romance (Legacy of Heathens Book 3) by Eva Winners. Enzo and Penelope have known from a young age that they were to be married. Enzo has been obsessed with his bride to be for a while. Penelope isn’t happy she is going to be married, but as a dutiful Italian daughter, she will do as she is told. This story was good. There was so much going on. Enzo has demons stemming from an abusive crazy mother that still haunts him to this day. His love for his intended is borderline obsessive stalker. But he has a heart of gold, and he will do whatever he deems necessary for his wife and sister-in-law. Of course, the organ trafficking ring is still a thorn in everyone’s side. However, when things are discovered by Enzo, the results are devastating. The relationship between Enzo and Penelope is definitely rocky at first. Penelope is stuck on the mystery man from the sex club. When a secret is revealed, the marriage is really in trouble. But an illness allows Penelope to see the softer side of Enzo, she was done for, and so was I. Enzo was all that. This was an emotional story that had me feeling like I was on a rollercoaster ride. I am enjoying this series, and the books are making me want to read the parent’s stories. 4.5 stars for me.
