Matteo โLuckyโ Branson has it allโan elite hockey career, a massive fanbase, and the kind of charm that trends effortlessly on TikTok. As the fun-loving left winger for the Pittsburgh Titans, heโs built a brand on superstition and swagger. But when a viral dating challenge puts him opposite a woman who couldnโt care less about his fame, Luckyโs about to learn the hard way that some games donโt follow the playbook.
They call me Lucky for a reason. My grandmother swears I was cursed at birthโyet somehow, Iโve been kissed by fate every day since. Iโve got my rabbitโs foot, a shamrock tattoo, and quirky rituals by the dozenโand itโs all worked so far. Lifeโs been smooth. Hockey, clout, fun… Iโm skating through.
Until I meet Winifred Shaw. Winnie. Sheโs smart, bold, and laugh-out-loud funny, with a TikTok following that rivals mine and a dating challenge thatโs going viral. The premise? Thirty days of dating to prove an average woman can still land a decent guy. Iโm the first to accept the challengeโone night, one chance, and then she moves on. But the moment she rolls her eyes at me, Iโm hooked.
She thinks Iโm just another overhyped athlete with a pretty face and a lucky streak. But I see herโconfident, curvy, electricโand I donโt just want a second date. I want every single one after that.
Iโve always trusted luck to get me where I need to be. But this time? Iโm ready to fight for it.

Lita’s Book Review: 5 Hockey Puck’s
Lucky (Pittsburgh Titans #18) by Sawyer Bennett. Ever since this character was introduced, I was looking forward to reading his story. Lucky came to the Titans like a whirlwind. He is a ray of sunshine with his rabbit’s foot, four leaf clover, and TikTok videos. When he sees Winnie’s TikTok regarding her dating challenge for regular men, Lucky decides to take her up on her challenge. Mind you, when Winnie made the proposal, she didn’t see a professional athlete as a regular guy. This story did not disappoint. Lucky,in spite of him being an attention seeker, he never thought he would fall for Winnie. With Lucky being so persistent, Winnie struggled with his sincerity along with the bad side of social media. Especially when she is out with Lucky and has to endure jealous women being directly hostile to her for no apparent reason. Lucky is determined to fight for what he wants, and of course, the Titan sisterhood and team players are there to help. This story was everything and more. I love the comradery of the Titan family because that is what it is. I loved Winnie and Lucky’s actual family, too. It is always a pleasure seeing how the other members of the Titan family are doing. I can’t say enough about this story. The setup for the next book has me chomping at the bit. I am so looking forward to it. Lucky was 5 hockey pucks for me.

Narrators: Connor Crais & CJ Bloom
O-M-G this book was good! Lucky is the 18th book in the Pittsburgh Titans series. This is Matteo โLuckyโ Branson and Winifred โWinnieโ Shawโs story. I have looked forward to Luckyโs story. I love his personality; it just shines through! He’s a hockey player; she is a kindergarten teacher and they are both influencers with social media. Oh, wow and he takes Winnie on the โLucky Rollercoasterโ!!!
While this wasnโt a bully romance Winnie was being bullied, by fans and other influencers and I love how it was handled. Bullies arenโt tolerated!
I donโt know either of the narrators for this book, but Connor can whisper in my ear any time! CJ Bloom did a great job with Winnieโs voice as well as the other characters that she voiced. I loved listening to the story with these 2 narrators. They brought the story alive!
The next story to be told is Atlasโ and I for one canโt wait for his story!
