Sweet Little Hearts by Shanora Williams is a heart filled story of Octavia Klein. She is a smart mouth nanny that loves her job and her family. When she goes to interview for a job with a NBA player who is a single father and her sister’s future husband’s best friend, she never realized what she has gotten herself into with Javier. Javier needs a nanny and one fast. He has gone through quite a few. Javier loves his daughter to bits and will do anything for her. However Octavia and Javier are like oil and water. She is sarcastic, loves being a joker and loves life. Javier is grumpy and way to serious. What started out as a contentious relationship eventually changed. Javier’s daughter really loves having Octavia as a nanny and he can see how good she is with his daughter. Eventually the attraction grows but each has their own issues. This story was enjoyable and at times comical. It was a journey seeing Javier and Octavia’s relationship go grow from scratching an itch to day by day to eventually more. I have read several books by this author and I am truly enjoying her story telling. This story was 4.5 stars for me.
