Just For the Cameras is the first book in a new series, Bay Area Players and this time it looks like it is a football romance. This is Graydon St. John and Maple Bakerโs story.
Graydon is a grump. He is a defensive end for the San Francisco Foghorns. Maple works for the San Francisco Zoo as a flamingo handler. Maple loves her flamingoโs and has a sunny disposition but these two do not hit it off in the beginning. When Graydon has to do a public appearance and do PR for the team.
I love that Graydonโs public appearance is that he is paired up with a zoo animal and his are the Flamingo!
Okay off subject but I have seen an actual flamingo in flight crossing the Howard Franklin bridge in Tampa, FL. An awesome sight and an awesome bird. So Graydon was lucky to get paired up with one!
Graydon takes grumpy and intense to an extreme. He practically drowns in his own baggage of emotions and Graydon is his own worst enemy. Maple words at the San Francisco Zoo as a flamingo handler.
I have to mention Chapter 10. I laughed so hard till I was crying. I like to highlight passages in my books that I love. Well instead of passages I practically highlighted all of Chapter 10.
This full cast of narrators are phenomenal! OMG the voice of Connor Crais lent a sexy voice for Graydon. But the whole cast was amazing. Look at these names! Emma Wilder as Maple. Teddy Hamilton narrated Bennettโs character, JF Harding as Oden โOCโ, Samantha Brentmoor as Everly, Jason Clarke narrated for both Hudson and Troy and Stella Hunter narrated Gretchenโs part. I am already anticipating the next audiobook!!!
What can I say about this e-book/audiobook but that I LOVED it! 5 STARS all the way around from the book to the audio! Definitely kept me entertained and laughing. Itโs a feel-good book!
