When my best friend Taylor gifted me a vacation at a resort owned by his grandparents, the last thing I expected was to bond with a man seventeen years older.

Tate was also vacationing alone.

He’d come to Midnight Key to clear his head and reevaluate his life.

I’d come to get over my high school sweetheart who’d dumped me.

I’d spotted the brawny, tattooed Adonis in the lobby on the first day and thought he had to be someone’s hot dad.

But then we matched on an app that paired single men and women by proximity.

The problem was? At nineteen—almost twenty—I’d lied and said I was twenty-nine.

Lita’s Book Review: 5 STARS

Taylor’s Father by Penelope Ward is the story of Blair, a young lady on vacation after her longtime boyfriend dumped her. At the resort an older man catches her eye. When she sets her sights on him ,we can only laugh at their interactions. I do not want to give anything away regarding their journey. I want you to to truly enjoy it for yourself. Initially I was worrying as to where the author was going with this story and when she got to where she was going, I was almost screaming. I certainly didn’t see that coming. I sat up straighter. I was really interested and got ready for what was to come. This story was everything. I do have to say this story felt different than her previous stories. Not a bad different just different, but no less the author once again delivered. The ending had me feeling excited and I was left with a big smile on my face. I wanted more. Yes, once again another 5 star read for me.

e-book/audiobook review:

Taylor’s Father is a standalone romance, and I love, love, love this book! This is Theodore “Tate” Delaney & Blair Moynihan’s story and is a huge 17-year age gap romance.

So that you know Taylor is Blair’s best friend. Taylor gifts Blair with a getaway to his grandparent’s resort after she has broken up with her boyfriend. Tate is at the resort too and he just needed to get away and take a vacation.

At times this was an emotional read, there were thrills & chills too!

What can I say about these two proven narrators? I loved listening to Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke. They kept me actively listening to the story! They just have the kind of voice that you never get bored with listening to!

This is a 5 STAR read for me for the audio and the e-book! I like to loosely follow along with reading.
