Synopsis:

A chance twist of luck placed Charlie right in the middle of club politics, where she was able to help free the club’s Vice President, Jay, from serving time for murder he did not commit, but willingly confessed to in Book 2. Her risk earned her the hard earned respect and admiration that is hard to come by in the world of the M.C.

Now that she finally has a place of her own in life, a place where she belongs and is wanted… is she willing to give it up? Give Him up? Willing to let it all slip through her fingers?

The Kingsmen MC’s saga continues in this newest installment of Tara Oakes’ tantalizing new series. In the first three novella’s you’ve come to know and love the characters within the club. Jay and Lil’s have had their epic love story play out over the pages of A Lil’ Less Broken, followed by A Lil’ Less Lost and finally, A Lil’ Less Hopeless. While their fairytale is far from over, the next arc in the series concentrates on some of the other intriguing characters that have been woven throughout Jay and Lil’s storyline.

Bitter sweet Deception by Tara Oakes is the 4th book in The Kingsmen MC series. This is the story of Clink and Charlie. Clink is the enforcer for the club and we met Charlie in book 2. She is the pretty nurse who has captured Clink’s interest. Clink has not been serious about anyone since his old lady up and left with his son. Charlie as we know has a secret that she has been trying to keep and the more she gets involved with Clink the harder it gets to go through with her plan.
Book 4 is the story of her secret, her love for Clink and the members of the club. What she thought to be true just may not be. We still get to know what is going on with all the other characters from the previous books.
I really enjoyed this story and love this book more than the 3 previous books. Throughout the story you have an idea that you know the secret but it is how the secret comes out that makes the book.
An all around well told story. Can’t wait to see how this story plays out. I give this book 4.0 OOOO’s (O’s for Orgasms)
