The Music of Temptation by Verity Jacobs can be read alone but I would recommend reading The Science of Attraction. Music of Temptation picks up a little time after the other book ended. This book is the story of Margot who is a student working towards her PhD at the Bonn Institute in Germany. For several years she has been having a long distance relationship with Eric who she left back in her native country of Canada. The relationship has slowly been dying and is finally coming to an end. Margot feels the relationship is stale and has found out Eric has kissed another girl. Going out one night to see a band her best friend recommended and clear her head about dying relationship, she meets the lead singer of Paper clouds. Jonathan did expect to meet anyone like Margot. A matter of fact the entire band is smitten with Margot. Jonathan and Margot have an instant attraction. Margot has reservations; she is having strong feelings for Jonathan but she is not ready for another long distance relationship plus she doesn’t want to get distracted from her goal of her PhD. After time the band goes from minor notoriety to being famous. The stress of their attraction starts to wear on Margot. The back and forth between the two is intense and very sexual.
I enjoyed their story, told in a way that kept the story going. I give this story 4 OOOO’s (O’s for Orgasms)

Lost and found
The guys started to amble on stage, and the sound that erupted from the crowd was phenomenal. I looked at Jonathan and he looked back at me with such light in his eyes that I knew he was born to do this. He squeezed my fingers, kissed me quickly and then strode out onto the stage.
And it’s fair to say that the crowd went wild.
I’d been to two other Paper clouds gigs that summer, and I’d seen the quiet adoration that the boys had earned from a sold-out club full of hipsters. But this was something else. Sure, a festival crowd was always going to be bigger, but this just felt epic. Aiko hadn’t been exaggerating when she’d said they were on the road to mega-stardom. As far as I was concerned, in that moment, they’d already arrived.
“Hey everyone,” Jonathan yelled into the mic. “I’m feeling good today. Are you guys feeling good?”
His fans all answered in the affirmative.
Alex launched them straight into their first number and my body responded like I’d been in withdrawal. The sound trickled through me and I felt myself properly relax for the first time all afternoon. I closed my eyes and moved with the beat, loving the way the rhythms now felt programmed into my limbs.
I spent most of the set like that, letting go and ignoring everyone and everything around me. The only thing I knew was the sound of his voice and the way that it made me feel. For better or worse, I was in love with Jonathan Young, and as much as it scared the bejesus out of me, it was also the single most powerful feeling I’d ever known.
When I opened my eyes and caught sight of him again, I felt the full force of it nearly knock me off my feet. He was electric out there, his sweat-soaked frame strung tight as he thrashed at his guitar. The reverb was intense, and the wall of sound they were making was even more unreal than usual from my vantage point at the side of the stage.
All of a sudden the sound level dropped out. Jonathan swung the guitar onto his back and reached for the mic.
“And she’s the reason I get out of bed. She’s the reason I’m clothed and I’m fed,” he sang.
But those weren’t the words to the song. I couldn’t remember how it was supposed to go. Something about a fish out of water? The words he was singing definitely weren’t the ones on the album.
“Well I’m lost and I’m found, but I can’t see the ground. And she’s the reason I’m out of my head.”
And that, right there, was the reason that I couldn’t help but give up and give in to this feeling.
