Love Garage (Love Brothers #1)

by Liz Crowe (Goodreads Author)
A Family Saga with humor, heat and heart–not to mention beer, bourbon and basketball!

Antony Love is the quintessential responsible oldest brother of a boisterous, Italian/Irish family, placed in charge at a young age by his parents who are busy running the family business. He manages his siblings with a fair but iron hand, until his life is shattered by personal tragedy leaving him the shell of the man he once was.

When outspoken matriarch Lindsay Halloran Love becomes ill, the youngest brother Aiden shows up at Antony’s garage, having dropped out of school (again), needing work and a place to crash. Antony provides both, with three caveats: “Don’t smoke in my truck, don’t be late for work, and don’t mess with my girlfriend.”

But Aiden Love, budding novelist, gets one glimpse of Rosalee Norris, young widow of Antony’s lifelong best friend and all bets are off.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading Love Garage. It was one hot mess with Aiden Love and his brother Antony Love. How could you mess up these grown boys faces Liz Crowe? And, yes I called them boys. Because they settle their problems with their fists at times in this book. I mean what is a broken nose or blackened eyes to these grown men. But, all turns out well. And, I can’t say more because I don’t do spoilers but, I can’t wait to read more about these Love Brothers, yes that is their last name!

I received a complimentary copy of Love Garage for an honest review and I actually had this book on my Kindle ready to read as well. I give it 4 stars and look forward to starting the next book in the (Love Brothers series).

Safe Love: A Love Brothers Companion Novella (Love Brothers #1.5)

by Liz Crowe (Goodreads Author)
Antony Ian Love has a lot on his ample shoulders. He owns and runs a small business, is estranged from his teenaged daughter AliceLynn, his beloved mother is dying of cancer, and he’s come face to face with his youngest brother Aiden’s sudden reappearance into the Love family circle. Years of sublimating his true self in deep mourning for his long dead wife have hardened the surly, emotional shell he’s nurtured, but one woman seems to have broken through. Rosalee Norris is the young widow of Antony’s best friend Paul and their mutual sorrow and close friendship has slowly morphed into something more.

Family therapist and recent divorcee Margot Hamilton is dropped into the close-knit Love family by necessity but fate has a real design twist in mind. With her heart and mind closed to anything resembling an emotional connection, Margot is shocked to discover something about Antony the very first time they meet–something she tries, and fails, to resist.

SAFE LOVE, The Love Brothers novella is a tale of love’s realistic complications within the saga of family devotion that runs as wide and deep as the Ohio River–except on Sundays when brothers Antony, Kieran, Dominic and Aiden work out their frustrations on the basketball court, Love brother style.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am glad that I read Love Garage first and, I really enjoyed this story. We got to meet more of the Love Brothers in this Novella. We also got to read more about Antony’s & his daughters (AliceLynn) therapy sessions with Margot Hamilton. I have to say that Safe Love held my attention more and I can’t wait to continue on with the Love Brothers story!

Oh and there is a little cliffhanger in this Novella. Fortunately, the next book Coach Love is out and I can start reading it as soon as I finish this review.

I received a complimentary copy of Safe Love for an honest review and I give Safe Love 4.5 stars

Coach Love (Love Brothers #2)

by Liz Crowe (Goodreads Author)
A Family Saga with humor, heat and heart–not to mention beer, bourbon and basketball!

The smoldering intensity of first love ~ the forbidden fantasy of temptation ~ the cold hard facts of real life.

When one man’s hopes are dashed apart in a split second after years spent chasing a dream, he returns home to Kentucky furious at the world and everyone around him.

Kieran Francesco is the middle son of the volatile, tight-knit Halloran-Love family. His role as peacemaker and the one true athlete is well established. He now faces life devoid of the sport he adores after a horrific, career-ending accident, which places him in a new and entirely uncomfortable position: that of the brother with no future.

Over the course of a few tumultuous months Kieran is plunged back into life at the center of the Love family, where he must cope with one self-destructive brother, one ill-timed reconnection to an old flame and a series of bad choices that land him in more trouble than he’d ever known existed.

Coach Love (Love Brothers, #2)Coach Love by Liz Crowe

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This time the story was about Kieran Francesco Love and Cara. Cara is an ex girl-friend of Kieran’s. Fast forward to the current day and Kieran is engaged to Melinda (a b*tch) and Cara is engaged to Kent Lowery, Jr. Yes, can you see another messy relationship is about to happen? I can’t say more because I don’t do spoilers. I have enjoyed reading another book in the Love Brothers Series.

This book has an HEA that I was relieved about. But, there are still more brothers to read about and fortunately I have the next book Love Brewing (Love Brothers #3) just sitting on my Kindle ready to read.

I received a complimentary gift of Coach Love for an honest review and I give it 4 stars.

Love Brewing (Love Brothers #3)

by Liz Crowe (Goodreads Author)
A Family Saga with humor, heat and heart–not to mention beer, bourbon and basketball!

Every family has one—the black sheep, the problem child, the prodigal. But Dominic Sean Love could teach all of those guys a lesson or two. Stuck in the middle of a boisterous group of siblings, he’s given “acting out” a new meaning from day one.

While he’s the one son who follows his strict father’s footsteps into the Love family business, he’s also the one who butts heads with him the hardest. Their epic clashes are the stuff of family legend. But they have made peace and work side by side to take Love Brewing to the next level of success.

Until Dominic does the one thing his father can never forgive.

Diana Brantley has been Dominic’s friend, girlfriend and ex-girlfriend so many times she’s lost count. When he shows up at the farm she’s slowly transforming into a wildly popular farm-to-table resource for restaurants all over the U.S. her first impulse is to shoot first and ask questions later. But she doesn’t. And their lives entwine once more, for good, bad and ugly.

Love Brewing (Love Brothers, #3)Love Brewing by Liz Crowe

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love Brewing is Diana Brantley and Dominic Love’s story. It is a story that spans across many years.

I am finding that none of the Love Brothers are perfect they all have their own problems and character flaws. Dom has probably had the most struggles since he is battling being Bi-Polar and also being Bi-and a sex fiend. He is such a Man-Whore. Dom really butt’s heads with his father too. I can’t say more and I hope I haven’t already said too much. You need to read Dom’s story involving all his struggles.

I loved this story and I feel that so far this is the best one of the Love Brothers Series. I am looking forward to reading the last book in this series.

I received a complimentary copy of Love Brewing for an honest review. I give Love Brothers 5 stars.

Family Love (Love Brothers #4)

by Liz Crowe (Goodreads Author)
A wealthy horse farmer’s rebellious daughter meets a sultry stable hand—but the result is far from the average tale of forbidden romance. When novelist Aiden Love publishes his parents’ story he has no idea the trauma it will cause.

The epic saga of one family’s turbulent beginning is entwined with the challenge of a mother’s relationship with her youngest child—the longed for only daughter, Angelique. But a secret Lindsay Halloran Love has kept for years could rip the tight-knit clan apart for good.

Resilient bonds of loyalty and blood are stretched to the breaking point, until tragedy strikes at the very heart and soul of the Love family, forcing everyone to take stock of what really matters.

Family Love (Love Brothers, #4)Family Love by Liz Crowe

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Family Love: This was the best book of them all! 5 stars all the way! OMG you had me crying! Family Love spans over many years. And, is the conclusion to the Love Brothers Series. I somehow think another book could still be written and I am not ready to stop reading their story.

This is Anton & Lindsay’s story and what a story. Through thick and through thin. The good, the bad and the ugly their story was told. I really felt badly for Angelique and no I can’t say why. All their kids were messed up but, they also formed a strong family unit and I was dragged into this family’s life.

I was given a complimentary copy of Family Love for an honest review. I loved this book and really enjoyed reading The Love Brothers Series. Thank you Liz Crowe for the opportunity to be involved with the Love Family. I give Family Love 5 stars.

She has decades of experience in sales and fund raising, plus an eight-year stint as a three-continent, ex-pat trailing spouse.
Her early forays into the publishing world led to a groundbreaking fiction hybrid, “Unconventional Romance. Worth the Risk,” which has gained thousands of fans and followers interested less in the “HEA” and more in the “WHA” (“What Happens After?”).
With stories set in the not-so-common worlds of breweries, on the soccer pitch, in successful real estate offices and at times in exotic locales like Istanbul, Turkey, her books are unique and told with a fresh voice. The Liz Crowe backlist has something for any reader seeking complex storylines with humor and complete casts of characters that will delight, frustrate and linger in the imagination long after the book is finished.
Don’t ever ask her for anything “like a Budweiser” or risk bodily injury.

Note to Liz Crowe:

My husband feels the same as you!  Is Budweiser a beer?  hmmm don’t think so.  It is just flavored water.  Give him an IPA any day!  Thanks for letting me read about those Love Brothers!
