Okay let’s get the WARNINGS out of the way! The author has a note at the beginning of The Bonus “This book contains scenes of erotica, hardcore brutality, dubious forced consent and reluctant sex. It is for adults only.” If you don’t like these things then this book is not for you!

I am not sure why more people have not bought this book. It is a good book and I enjoyed the story. I am also glad that Rimjob isn’t around any more…. But, you will have to read this story to know why! Oh and there is some hot consensual sex in “The Bonus” too!

This story is about Kyle a real badass and a killer and Chloe a seasoned drug courier. Kyle is a decorated Marine, now working with Arturo his brother and is a Mexican Cartel boss. Kyle could have killed Chloe but decided he would take her as his “bonus”. Thank god Chloe was such a strong woman for all the things that happened to her in life and that Kyle keeps her.

Songbird by A.J. Adams

Why have I waited so long to read Songbird? I reviewed The Bonus (Kyle & Chloe’s story) on Jan 8, 2015 and Dirty Dealings (Quique & Natalia’s story) on Jul 18, 2016. Songbird is actually the second book in the Zeta Series but, it can be read as a standalone and it does have an HEA.

I really enjoyed reading Arturo Vazquez (the boss of the Mexican Zeta Cartel) and Solitaire’s story. I loved Solitaire’s character. As per my usual I don’t provide you with a synopsis because I think the author does it so much better than I can. I think Solitaire is such a strong woman and no wonder Arturo falls for her. But, you will have to read Songbird to know why she is so strong! If you have read Dirty Dealings you will know who Quique is since he makes an appearance in Songbird.

Songbird does have a warning so do look at that before you decide to read this book.

I give Songbird 4.5 Stars and as always I love A. J. Adams books and look forward to reading more from this author.

Dirty Dealings by A.J. Adams

I loved Dirty Dealings! This is Quique & Natalia’s story. They meet when the Zeta Cartel send Quique to England on a operation for the Zeta’s. Quique is the second in charge of security for the Mexican Zeta Cartel. Natalia finds herself running a pub for her ex Father in law (he is in jail) and no one else is either responsible enough or capable of running it. And, she has been asked to run it by the family even though she is divorced. But, Natalia is a caregiver even though she is known for being tough. Natalia is a big “B” (yes edited for my Amazon review) and I loved Natalia Truelove’s character! She is a strong woman and yet can fall apart at all the right moments just like a woman can. And, while being a strong man Quique had a marriage that was falling apart and his soon to be ex had emasculated him in front of the Zeta’s. Believe me Quique is all “Man” but, he didn’t feel that way in front of his friends and family within the Zeta’s. Natalia really knows how to build him back up in front of the Zeta’s. Okay no more story you need to read Dirty Dealings.

And as usual I love reading book by A. J. Adams because she really knows how to tell a story. I received a complimentary copy for an honest review and I give Dirty Dealings 4.5 Stars.
