The hunger for violence and bloodshed is still raw, still as consuming as ever. The need to know where he came from, and how he got there, is still as pungent as ever. The need for pain and degradation he craves is now becoming unbearable, and the crushing constraint he fights with, not to mix brutality with sex, is growing fiercer with every breath.
Yet, there is one thing that fills his lungs with pure air, one thing that gives his life purpose and hope, and only one thing that calms the turbulent storm of rage inside him.
Sam. The epitome of his mother.
The replica of the gentle soul Anderson will never forget. Never stop loving. Never stop longing for.Unwilling to allow anyone to destroy the only thing he lives for, Anderson’s life is thrown into hell when Sam suddenly takes ill. The very thing that owns Anderson’s cold and damaged heart is threatened, and when it seems like history has a nasty way of repeating itself, once again, an unexpected soul steps up and takes hold of his hand. The calm and serenity only one woman could give him was snatched away two years ago, and he thought he would never feel that quietness in the core of him once again.
Except, sometimes, someone, somewhere, offers us retribution for our sins. A hand reaches out to hold ours. And a gentle heart can, and does, settle the fury inside us.

Lita T’s Review: 5 STARS
Bound (Caged 2.5) by D. H. Sidebottom- For those of you who have not read the first 2 books please do. Cain’s story is sick, dark and twisted and if that is what you like to read than this is the series for you. The author did not disappoint with this novella. The story picks up 2 years after the death of Kloe. Cain is still violent and cage fighting. Sam is growing like a weed and is a constant reminder of what Cain lost. His best friend and twisted lover Robbie is still there to give Cain what he needs. When Sam gets sick Cain meets a nurse. There is something about this nurse that stirs feelings in Cain. When he finds out she is in some trouble he is there to help. What he didn’t expect was their mutual love for pain. While trying to keep her safe they are drawn closer together. Cain still has his demons which make for some dark painful but orgasmic sex. I loved every demented moment. It was great catching up with the characters. I knew I loved this series but reading this book made me see just how much. I look forward to the next book. I read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I give it 5 stars.
Tanya Rae’s rating: 4.5 of 5 stars
You absolutely need to read this series in order. Caged is book 1 and Chained is book 2 and know that this book is VERY DARK. Read the warnings and if you don’t like this type of book don’t read it!
Bound is a Novella and is the 2.5 book of the Caged Series. Bound starts off 2 years after Kloe dies. Anderson’s son Sam gets sick and is rushed to the hospital. I can’t say more because I would give away a spoiler. This is a very short book so it is easily read but, it does grab at your heart strings! I loved reading Bound!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of Bound and I give this book 4.5 STARS. And, I wonder if more is to come. I hope so.
Judd Asher was taken from his front garden when he was just four years old. After an extensive search he was never found.
Twenty-one years after a random call out, Judd is found chained and beaten in the basement of an old rundown farmhouse where he has lived the life of an animal for the last twenty-one years.
Kloe Grant is assigned as Judd’s personal therapist. It’s her job to rehabilitate him, to guide him back to normal life. But as Judd’s only emotion is rage, Kloe finds it both heart-breaking and challenging mending a soul that’s not only broken but caged inside him by the demons of his past.
However, when Kloe’s relationship with her patient raises some eyebrows, Kloe can’t fight against the powers that want to see her fail, and with an arm behind her back, she walks away, leaving behind a man who has come to live life again for her.
Four years later Judd, now known as Anderson Cain, the darkest and most formidable cage fighter in a world where violence and crime are the only way to keep breathing, Judd finds there’s not a lot in life that can abate the rage that still twists and prowls beneath his skin.
Not until a chance encounter brings him to her door. To the woman with the bluest eyes and the most stunning smile, the woman who took his hand in the darkness and led him through the door into the sun.
But Kloe Grant left him when he needed her the most. She took the only shred of hope and trust he had left and annihilated it. She starved his belief, and she fed his fury.
She owes him. And he’s going to make sure that this time, she pays. In blood. In lust. In pain. And with her soul.
I had once thought that when I found the light I had been searching for in that long, dark tunnel that it would finally give me the gift I had been holding on for.
I had scoured the joyless night sky for peace, a peace that only the brightness of the stars could grant.
And I had endeavoured to catch that single magic snowflake in the middle of a howling snowstorm.
I had been looking. Forever.
But little did I know that it WAS the sinister darkness in the tunnel that was the gift. It WAS the black reservoir of the deepest, darkest night that would be the very thing to give my chaotic soul peace. And it WAS the heaving rush of the bleakest blizzard that was filled with magic.
Anderson Cain WAS the darkness.
He WAS the black peace in my soul.
And within the raging pool of his wild green eyes WAS the magic.
The magic that saw me. The real me.
He made sure I saw me too. All of me. He’d told me he would make me accept who I really was.
I was Kloe Grant. And now – now I am the epitome of what he wanted me to be.
But when I finally let go, and I allowed that darkness to find me, neither of us was prepared for who I really was.
This book contains extreme violence, strong adult language and scenes of dark sex, including M/F/M.
