“Havoc was a good book, packed full of drama and action.” – Cat’s Guilty Pleasures

As a social worker, I’ve seen my fair share of broken families, bad relationships, and worlds of regret.
Because of that the last thing, I’ll ever do is let down my guard, or open up my heart.
As for men, bring ’em on.
I love a good man in my bed, but I’m not looking for forever or happily ever after.
That’s not my style.
Please me, and leave.
These are my rules.
There’s no bending or breaking them.
Even when he pulls out all the stops,
I’m not budging.
They’re set in stone.
Or should I say, “Rock?”
I’m chiseling away at that hard exterior, one pebble at a time.
I don’t negotiate, I don’t share, and
I sure as hell don’t wait my turn.
Despite her smart mouth and fiery ways,
I still want her.
But this “friends with benefits” deal of hers is bullshit.
I don’t play that way.
At least, I don’t plan to anymore.
I will own every ounce of her.
It will all be mine.

Havoc (Deathstalkers Book 7) by Alexis Noelle. Chrissy is a social worker who has issues of her own. Growing up with a mother who was looking was for a man who would take her away from it all and take care of her financially the only problem is her mom was looking for this guy in all the wrong places. This has made Chrissy very weary when it comes to relationships. She only does casual sex and wants nothing g serious. She has stuck to her plan until Rock a guy she met at a MC party that she went to with her best friend Megan who is an old lady. The problem is she has been sleeping with Rock more than she should have and now she wants to step away. Rock however has no intention of letting her go. Rock loves his club and the life and he is ready to claim Chrissy as his old lady but first he has to get past Chrissy’s wall. This was a good story and very emotional at time. This one was definitely a roller coaster ride and it was truly havoc. I also like seeing the other ladies of the MC and catching up on what they are up to now. I don’t want to give away too much of what happens in the story but I do want to say to be prepared, grab you some tissues and get ready to laugh till your side hurts and cry till your eyes are red. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I give this 4 stars.
