Forget Me Not by Willow Winters. Robin was abducted when she was a little girl and was held captive for 4 months. She was not by herself in the house of horrors. They only had each other to cling to for strength and support. Her captive’s son Jay endured a majority of the abuse. He was however able to help Robin escape. Now a psychiatrist the death of one of her patients has bought up memories of Jay. More to the point Robin still has guilt over her escaping the house of horrors and leaving Jay behind. This is a dark and twisted story of two people trying to deal with life after surviving a traumatic event. When she realizes she has been abducted by Jay her guilt drives her to help him. At the same time Jay has abducted Robin because he knows she needs help and he is determined to save her. The story really kept me guessing to who was the one who really needed the help or do they both need help to get over what has happened to them. A strange tale. Pay attention. At the beginning of the story I was a little confused with what was going on but by the time I caught on to what was happening I was hooked. I read an Advance Reader Copy of the book and I give it 4 stars.
