Once upon a time, I thought love was a fairytale. My prince was a Beast with blood on his hands and ice in his veins. My family
offered to save me. The only price: leaving the tattered pieces of my heart
behind. Our love was irrational. Cruel. Unforgiving. Nothing like the storybooks said
it should be—but it was perfect.

The longer we were apart, the more I lost myself. He was vicious and
domineering, but I craved the submission. Together we were destructive, but I
was addicted to the devastation. Still, I thought titles mattered. To my family
I was princess, and to the Beast I was slave. I was too naïve to understand
that even though he’d been my captor, he’d broken the shackles on my soul.

Once upon a time, I thought love meant happily ever after.

Now I know better.

Frankie leaves Anteros tied to the bed and bleeding. Finally finding her family Frankie believes that she will finally learn about her family and where she came from. This was mistake number one. Thinking that Anteros would let her walk away unharmed was mistake number two.. And the last mistake was thinking that she was not his slave.. Anteros has been branded F by his slave and he’s even more in love with her. Anteros is risking everything he’s working hard for by having feeling for Frankie. He knows that he needs to focus on what he and the Wolves planned but nothing matters but Frankie. Secrets are being kept from everyone. Frankie and Anteros has secrets that could destroy each other. Can their feelings for each other save them or will it cost each one their life?
I am torn about this book. After reading Beast I was soo excited about Beauty but then as the book continued it started to become too much. Soo many times I wanted to throw my phone or tablet at the wall. I felt like there was too much drama.. Soo many times the truth could have been told and it wasn’t.. It was hard for me to get thru this book. This series started as an adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and by the end of this book I felt like it was a Bonnie and Clyde story.. With this said I still had to know how it would end.. How does Frankie and Anteros story end? The ending was not what I expected but it was very fitting for them. Although this was a tough read for me I would still recommend others to read it.
