Wicked As Sin is book 1 in the new Wicked & Devoted Series. Fortunately Shayla Black has written this book so that newbies to the Wicked Lovers and Devoted Lovers series will be able to start with this series. BTW I am a newbie to these 2 series. I have wanted to read them but felt I would be too far behind in either of those series.
This is Brea Bell and Pierce βOne-Mileβ Walkerβs story. And what a story it was! Brea is a preacherβs daughter so she is a good girl. She probably shouldnβt get messed up with One-Mile! But she is drawn to him whether she should or not. One-Mile thinks she is in love with Cutter, her best friend and protector. He is very protective of her and he doesnβt want her to get involved with One-Mile but it is a little too late for that. There were a lot of misunderstandings and regret.
Wicked As Sin was suspenseful, sexy & full of hotness!
I knew I was coming to the ending and I knew there was going to be a cliffie. It still didnβt keep me from calling out NO!!!! But I may be the weird one here. It doesnβt bother me, muchβ¦. To have a cliffhanger. It just makes me very ready to get the rest of the story. Wicked As Sin is 5 star worthy!!! Loved it!!! Now bring on Wicked Ever After!
