Lita T’s Review: 5 Stars
Lost Boy by Ker Dukey is a dark psychological thriller with a sick twist at the end. The story starts out with a pregnant lady seeing her serial killer husband. She is having a boy. Some how he escapes finds her and kills wife and wife’s bestfriend. He takes his son Jack and leaves son’s bestfriend Lizzy. Fast forward over a decade. The bestfriend Lizzy an emotional wreck is trying her best to live her life when the killings start back up. They never found the escaped serial killer. The girls being killed have a resemblance to her. She is scared and doesn’t know who to trust. A stranger comes into town who has a fascination with Lizzy. He keeps popping up. I don’t want to give away to much of the story. Just hold onto your hats. A cat and mouse story that had such a twist, I didn’t even see this coming. This is Ker at what she does best. A good mind f@%?. Can you say blow my mind. Tied everything up with a truly sick bow. 5 sick stars for me.

The Lost Boy By Ker Dukey
“If you’re new to my titles, please read with caution. This title contains dark content. If you’re an avid Ker Dukey reader, then go forth with your dark heart. You’re already too corrupted to heed caution.” When this is the author’s note I know I am going to enjoy this book!
At 8 years old Lizzy’s best friend, Jack, and her mother was taken away by a monster. Fast forward 12 years later, it seems that her past has finally caught up to her. At the same time a mysterious man appears in her town and sparks reactions in Lizzy that she’s not prepared for. There’s something familiar about him but Lizzy can’t put her finger on it. As more women are going missing, Lizzy is losing what little sanity she has left. What is Lizzy to do when everything leads back to her? Has the monster come back for her, or is this a new monster she didn’t see coming?
I knew from the beginning I was going to enjoy this book and I did. The author kept me in suspense. Poor Lizzy is being traumatized over and over again with each new incident. I couldn’t help but to feel bad for her. She had the worse person in her corner. I didn’t like her “best friend”, Charlotte. I feel that Lizzy deserved better. I most definitely recommend this book to others especially if you enjoy a good suspenseful book.
