The Romantic Pact is the second book in the Kings of Football series and is by Meghan Quinn. The first book in the series is The Revenge Pact and is written by Ilsa Madden-Mills and the third book is The Relationship Pact and has been written by Adrianna Locke. You do not have to read all the books in this series to know what’s going on. Easily read as a standalone. But they are all connected.

Crew and Hazel have known each other since they were kids and would spend their summers together on Crew’s grandfather’s farm. Now they haven’t seen each other for 3 years and turns out they are going to Germany on a road trip together. Thanks to Crew’s grandfather. He knew they should be together and he had arranged this trip as a dying wish. They each thought they were traveling alone and found out on the plane to Germany that they would be together.

Meghan sure knows how to write emotional funny stories because I laughed out loud and I also teared up several times throughout this story.

This author hits on several tropes with this book and this is all the kind of books I love to read. 4.5 stars
