This is one of my favorite kind of romances, the ones that start with that meeting of the eyes, that instant jolt that tells you that this is a moment in your life you will never forget. A moment that changes everything. ~Carolโ€™s Reviews

Greer Lockhart set out to save the world from itself when he organized his first beach cleanup at the age of twelve. Now, as a uber-successful venture capitalist for eco-friendly startups, he doesnโ€™t let anything get in his wayโ€”whether personal or professional. When a new fitness app schedules a site-wide cycle race, Greerโ€™s competitive side wonโ€™t let him back down. Not even when his undivided attention turns to the one racer he canโ€™t beat: Biker101.
ย
Dallas Reigns learned a long time ago to keep his head low and his focus forward. He gives his all to a business he started with his brothers, BikeBro. But he worries his all might not be enough if they canโ€™t gain traction before their financial ship sinks. A chance meeting with a hard-hitting venture capitalist is just what they need. Until his resistance is tested when the striking blond man shows interest in more than just his company, challenging all Dallasโ€™s etched-in-stone boundaries.
ย
When the illusion of Dallasโ€™s life threatens to crumble under the weight of his own desire, can he find a way to fortify his iron will, or will Greer help him breakaway from the restraints of his past?

Bettina A’s Review:ย  4 Stars
Have you ever read a book where itโ€™s hard to put into words without giving everything away? This is that book for me. There so much I want to say but I donโ€™t want to ruin it for others. I enjoyed reading this book. Dallas and his brothers built their exercise company from the ground up. Putting everything he had into it. Yet thereโ€™s a part of him that he keeps locked away. His familyโ€™s love is conditional (except for Duck. He loves him unconditionally.) Greer owns his business where he can help up and coming business start. He has a passion to save the world a little at a time. Greer is a playboy who doesnโ€™t want love and doesnโ€™t want to be tied down. On a chance meet Greer and Dallas meet and Greer canโ€™t stop thinking about Dallas. Unfortunately, Dallas guard is up because of his past and Greer has a challenge on his hands. Itโ€™s a good thing that Greer loves a good challenge. As they work together to get Dallas and his brothers business off the ground guards are dropped and emotions are revealed. Will Dallas be able to let go of his past and those who love him conditionally or will he choose happiness and love?

I enjoyed the chemistry between Dallas and Greer. I hated what Dallas went thru in his past and the damage it caused because of his family. Someone should never hide who they are. This book kept me wanting more and more. I could not put it down. I highly recommend this book to others to read.

โ€œNo, heโ€™s not gay.โ€ Skye bit her lip and cut a worried gaze back toward Dallas. She had that protective mama bear look. Greer eagerly followed her line of sight. The warmth that seeped into his skin stunned him silent. A rare occurrence indeed. Dallas was enchanting in the silliest of ways because he absolutely couldnโ€™t dance at all, but he sure tried. Greerโ€™s genuine grin was immediate as he watched the dark-haired temptation move. Dallas had no shame in his game. This time Skyeโ€™s cool palms landed on his flushed cheeks, snapping his attention back down to her. She gripped his shirt, tugging him closer to be clearly heard.ย

โ€œHeโ€™s a real good guy. We went to high school together. Heโ€™s not married, but heโ€™s not gay. And heโ€™s one of my dearest friends. Like a true best friend since second grade.โ€ย

He lifted his brow, encouraging her to say more as he began rolling his body with hers.ย

โ€œHeโ€™s got two brothers. He graduated from UTA. He was an elementary school PE teacher, but started working at the gym as a personal trainer. He works nights and has done really well there.โ€ย

Now, they were getting somewhere. โ€œWhoโ€™s he dating?โ€ย

Skyeโ€™s brows plunged into a hard V. He took her silence to mean she couldnโ€™t remember the last time heโ€™d dated. A guy like Dallas would be sought out by womenโ€ฆand men, for that matter. Greer hoped there may be some sort of promiscuous curiosity on Dallasโ€™s part for no other reason than he really wanted it to be that way.ย

โ€œHeโ€™s busy with BikeBro. He doesnโ€™t have time for anything more.โ€ย

Greerโ€™s smirk turned her confusion to irritation. But her statement made him curious. โ€œDoes he work for the company?โ€ย

Both her hands landed on his chest, and she started pushing him off the dance floor, not caring who she ran into as they went. โ€œGreer, he started BikeBro with his brothers.โ€ย

Once they were off to the side, her palms captured his cheeks, more forcefully this time. She drew him down to where their faces were only inches apart. Her gaze was guarded as she stared him straight in the eyes.ย

โ€œListen to me. Heโ€™s not gay or bisexual. Thatโ€™s not going to change, doesnโ€™t matter how good-looking you are. Dallas had a long-time girlfriend in college. They dated until a couple of years ago. She took a job in Atlanta. He didnโ€™t want to leave his family. Heโ€™s a good guy. Real down to earth. A sweet man who doesnโ€™t play your kind of games.โ€

Greer nodded, hoping to indicate heโ€™d heard every one of her cautionary words. โ€œOkay, how old is he?โ€ย

She threw her hands in the air. โ€œYou didnโ€™t hear a word I said, did you? Heโ€™s like a brother to me, Greer. Heโ€™s not your type.โ€ Skye rolled her eyes at his raised brow. He waited for an answer. She finally gave. โ€œHeโ€™s twenty-seven. He helps anyone in need. He volunteers for things all the time, and when I plan to settle down, Iโ€™m marrying him. He would be a great husband and father. Heโ€™s a genuinely good man.โ€ She tossed out her hands and gave him a clear, see-I-told-you-so look.ย

Pfft, like her reply answered anything. โ€œThen can I have a crack at him before you two get married?โ€

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovativeย writer,ย and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It’s always a surprise to see what’s coming next!
ย
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it’s true, the only thing bigger than anย over activeย imagination,ย may beย women’s hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life – I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal… I don’t want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I’m going to tell you about Kindl
ย
I tragically lost myย sixteen year oldย daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn’t have to be alone.
ย
That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
ย
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness – it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindleย ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it..ย It never happened.
ย
Through the course of that cripplingย eventย I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, loveย andย harmony. It’s its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn’t be here today without her.

  1. THIS. BOOK. RIGHT. HERE!!!! I am in LOVE with Dallas and Greer. Seriously, Kindle had never written a book I didnโ€™t love but there is something about these two that makes me connect with them like I did when I read Forever. No, you will not ugly-cry like you did with Forever, but these characters will never leave you.
