Just when you think things couldnโt get any worse, it does. Poor Scarlett just can get a break and be happy. Cristiano is slowly finding out who can be trusted and who canโt. Now everyone has his best interest at heart. Will Cristiano be able to find the wolf in sheep clothing or will it be too late and he loses the person he loves?
This was an great conclusion to this duet. There was still suspense and action. I knew I didnโt like certain people for a reason. The betrayal in this book is real! I did not see that nasty bomb drop about Cristianoโs brother. Dang my heart went out to them. Iโm a little disappointed that not everyone got what they deserved but 2/3 isnโt too bad. Lol. I am hoping for a book with Mara and Dante. I highly recommend this series. Iโm being a fast fan of Natasha Knight.

I Thee Take (To Have and To Hold Duet # 2) by Natasha Knight concludes Scarlett and Cristiano’s story. Cristiano has a lot to deal with. His wife is missing. He has a traitor in his inner circle and he needs to know how they found the house. He also has to come to terms with how he acted towards his wife and his feelings for her. A true cat and mouse game. Cristiano needs to figure out who betrayed him while avenging his family’s death and dealing with his feelingsfor Scarlett. Scarlett is hurt by the way Cristiano acted towards her while dealing with the man who seems to not want to let her go. I kinda had an ideal of who had betrayed Cristiano and who was behind his family’s murder. It was quite the journey to get to the conclusion to this story. I sure didn’t see that coming.ย It was nice to see Cristiano start out as this cold hearted person who had one sole focus to evolving into someone who could care. There were a few twist and some secrets were revealed. So glad Cristiano and Scarlett got their HEA. Now because of the loose ends left at the end of this story I have my fingers crossed that there will other books regarding Dante. I too want to read Mara’s story. I am looking forward to knowing what happened to them after this book ended and the conclusion to their story. I give this book 4 stars.
