This book took a little longer than usual to finish. While I enjoyed seeing Marcus in a different way I wasn’t instantly hooked. It took some time to enjoy this story. By then end I was hooked and I needed more. Gabe is like a breath of fresh air that Marcus needed when he didn’t even know he needed one. It was nice to Gabe slowly thaw out Marcus’ cold demeanor. I love that even with the age gap they have important things in common. It was such a joy to see Logan and Tate again. I’ve missed them so much. This is another slow burn but you can still feel the fire between Marcus and Gabe. Any Ella fan would definitely enjoy this book. I am looking forward to book two. I can’t wait to see what Gabe has in store for Marcus when he returns.
