The Rise of Fortune and Fury is the fifth and final book in the Chronicles of the Stone Veil series. For those of you that love urban fantasy/paranormal books need to grab up this series. Especially now that the series is complete!

I got chills at the ending of this book! It was soooo very good!!! I am sad that this series is over and I am hoping for a spin off! Sawyer Bennett writes books that people want to read and if you haven’t discovered her yet in my opinion you need to!

The Rise of Fortune and Fury brings all the characters together and it was a fitting conclusion. 5+ STARS

The Rise of Fortune and Fury (Chronicles of The Stone Veil # 5) by Sawyer Bennett is the conclusion of this series. Finley has been taken by the fairy prince. Carrick has to make a decision regarding the blood stone. The group also has to decide who to trust and how they will defeat Kymaris. When I finished the first book I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue with this story. However after each book I was loving this story more and more. The evolution of who Finley started out as a person to the possible savior of humanity was quite the transformation and made for a good story. Than the relationship between her and Carrick was one for the books, I loved their love and devotion to each other after all their previous lives. The group of people who were helping Finley and Carrick had their own stories that were interesting. So much going on. I never did find out what happened to the other brother. There was some surprises and by the end of the story I was in tears. An emotional rollercoaster ride that had me feeling mighty fine at the end. 4.5 stars for me.
