The Bratva’s Heir (Underworld Kings Series) by Jane Henry & Sophie Lark is the story of Constantine the enforcer, right hand man, son of the Bratva and heir apparent to the Bratva finds himself in prison for 25 years for a murder he didn’t commit. He was supposed to have killed his fiancee who was pregnant with his child. To compound the situation it was an arranged marriage between the Russian and Irish mob. While serving his sentence he comes across Claire a sheltered, wet behind the ears psychologist who has decided she is going to help rehabilitate him. Constantine has other plans. He has no intention of serving out his time for a crime he didn’t commit and he has every intention of finding out who did commit this crime. And of course he plans on torturing and killing the perpetrators of the crime. When he discovers that Claire is the daughter of the DA that railroaded him, he plans on using her. What he doesn’t plan on is developing strong feelings for Claire and of course Claire certainly didn’t plan on falling for a criminal. I enjoyed the journey Constantine and Claire embarked on to prove his Innocence. With her naivete and his kink we were treated to some very hot sex as well as a good love story. In addition what he had to go through to discover the players in the murder and frame up was quite the cat and mouse game. Doing this game, while on the run from breaking out of prison with his suppose to be hostage aka Claire kept everyone on their toes and this reader satisfied. Another good story in the Underworld series.Β Keep them coming.Β A 4 star read for me.

The Bratvaβs Heir is part of the Underworld Kings Series. Each book can be read as a standalone but may be an introduction into the author’s own series. I believe it is the town that is the connection to each of these books in the Underworld Kings series.
This is Clare Nightingaleβs and Constantine Rogovβs story. Clare meetβs Constantine in prison. Where he is serving time for murder. She is new to being a Correctional Psychologist. Her job is to help in the process of rehabilitation to help in the process of the inmates to return to a normal life outside of prison. Constantine sees her as a βcrusaderβ. However, he wants her and when he makes a prison break he takes her with him.
He is out to prove who committed the murder. Since it wasnβt him.
What follows is a good & steamy story. I have read Jane Henryβs books and love them and Sophie Lark is a new to me, author. I have been wanting to check her books out so this was a great opportunity to do that! I love how 2 authors can get together to write a book and write it seamlessly.
I enjoyed reading another story in this Underworld Kings world and canβt wait for more.
