It doesn’t help Thor seems to be in cahoots with Brent when it comes to foisting romance on her.

It Was All the Cat’s Fault is the second book in the Meet Cute series. This is Brent Shadwell and Eve Chatham’s story.

Eve has a cat named Thor and who the story is centered around. Eve just bought a home that is a fixer upper. Thor is Eve’s baby. Thor ends up getting stuck behind a wall. Eve ends up calling a plumber and Brent answers. Brent has been trying to help his father who has cancer, out by covering calls

Eve is a worker! She has 2 part time jobs as well as going to college. She is in way over her head with renovations on the house and Brent volunteers to help.

This was an enjoyable read with the antics of a cat and Brent seemed so sensible and thankfully forgives Eve easily. She kept trying to push him away. This book left me feeling good at the end. So far each book in this series can easily be read as standalones.
