P.S. You’re The Worst by Jane Anthony . This was my first time reading this author, and I am glad I decided to read this book. Darla is most definitely what you would call trailer trash. Her mother is a neglectful drunk, and her stepfather is a useless perv. Darla is just trying to keep a roof over her head and bid her time till she is out of high school. After work, she decides to hook up with some random guy. The encounter doesn’t turn out the way she thought it should. However, the next day, a chance meeting has her seeing her hookup. Dylan is the governor’s son whose whole life is planned. He is a dutiful son whose life is slated to follow his father into politics. Imagine his shock when he runs into the girl who gave him a mind-blowing blow job, and he stiffed. Darla is a real firecracker and has getting even on her mind. The interaction between Darla and Dylan was one explosive encounter after another. What started out as a hookup evolves into something more. Two people from two different worlds. Can they have something special, or are they doomed from the start. I enjoyed how this author told their story, and I look forward to reading something else by here. The journey Darla and Dylan went on was a real rollercoaster ride from the beginning to the end. I loved every minute of it. A 4.5 star read for me.

P.S. You’re the Worst is only the second book that I have read by this author. I loved Dylan Masters and Darla Burke’s story. Dylan was a jerk in the beginning and a hard to like character, but people do change and in the end, I loved how Dylan professed his undying love! Yes, there is an HEA!
Darla has far too many worries for a young woman. She doesn’t always make smart decisions. She bears her life with strength and dignity. I loved her character.
This is a good book with a good story! I look forward to reading more from this author.
