Lita’s Book Review: 5 STARS
Relentless (Quattro Security #2) by C.B. Noy. Luciano, aka Luc, has had a thing for the plus-size school teacher since Limitless. If you haven’t read it, do so. You will not be disappointed. Luc has been trying to keep his distance from Emory. However, when he sees something he doesn’t like, he knows he has to take action. Emory has always had issues with her curvy figure. Being the daughter of a senator and a socialite mother, she has constantly been harassed by not only her family but also the help. Now, dear old dad has requested her attendance to a big event, and all those old feelings she thought she had left behind when she moved to Mountain Grove have resurfaced. When an assignment comes up, Luc jumps at the chance, which would allow him to get closer to Emory. The question is, will this opportunity have an adverse effect on their budding relationship along with Emory’s insecurities. Another hit from this author. Book 1 is not necessarily needed to be read to read this book, but like I said previously, you need to read Limitless. In fact, you should read the first series, Mountian Grove, which is the series that started this all. Loved the characters. Loved the Brotherhood and the Sisterhood of the characters. Loved the story of a plus-size woman being loved to the point of overcoming her insecurities. Just loved this story all around. I’m definitely looking forward to the next brother’s book. 5 stars for me.
