The Wildest One (The Weston Group #2) by Marni Mann. After his win and a night of celebration, Beck sees a young lady across the bar that captures his eye. With her flaming red hair and banging body, Beck makes a proposal to Jolie that has both of them going on an adventure that was only supposed to have lasted 3 days. Jolie is out with her girlfriend Ginger. After the hockey game, they decide to go to a bar that they aren’t even legally old enough to drink at. When she gets a proposition by the star player of the opposing team to show him around Boston and spend his remaining time in town with him, she can’t resist. The attraction between the two was more than they bargained for. They never forgot each other. After some time and a miscommunication, their paths end up crossing when Beck sees her in one of his family’s club in LA. After a hot night together, Beck finds out not only is Jolie’s father the new owner of Beck’s team, but Jolie is the head of marketing. The attraction is still there. They both want each other, but Jolie has a job, and mixing business with pleasure isn’t one of them. Beck has never forgotten those 3 days and what they shared. He is determined to get Jolie back, and he doesn’t care what he has to do. Their journey to each other was so good. I couldn’t get enough of them. Beck was so yummy, and he certainly knows how to swoon a woman. This story gave me a feeling I hadn’t had in a while. I can’t name what it is. I just know I loved this story. 5 stars for me.
