Serial – Jaden Wilkes and Lily White! Masterminded by two authors, singly Jaden Wilkes and Lily White are brilliant. Put the two of them together and you get a seriously twisted and EXTREMELY DARK BOOK! Serial may be their darkest book yet! So for those of you out there make sure you read all the WARNINGS! This book is definitely not for the faint of heart! The only complaint that I had is that the book was too short! I wanted to keep on reading but, they tell you that this is a series of short stories in the book description.

Tanya, I had to break in here and add my brief review. I say brief because it is only a review of the Prologue and first two chapters.
While I thought the Serial (what I was able to read of it) was written very well, the direction it takes is very twisted and dark. The storyline definitely captures the reader, hence my problem. After reading such a small snippet of the Serial I was so completely disturbed that I could not continue to read.
Serial is written from the perspective of the Serial killer and allows the reader to get into his mind. This was a place I was, apparently, very uncomfortable going. I am not generally squirmish, but this book hit all of my buttons.
If you enjoy a well written read about a sociopath, then by all means, by it and maybe even twice. However, if like me, you are ‘Afraid of the Dark’ that lurks behind handsome eyes…RUN, RUN FAST AND FAR.
