Heat is the first book in the Black Inferno series. Rox and Lacey are best friends, roommates and occasional lovers. For Lacey’s birthday a night of clubbing has been planned. A night of drinks, dancing and sex with some boys and if no boys then with sex with each other. Things turn interesting when they catch the eye of two good looking guys.
This book was face paced and exciting and told in such a way that this reader could hardly put the book down. I was almost late to work because I was trying to read and get ready for work at the same time. The sex was such that at certain parts I was blushing with a cheese eating grin on my face.I truly enjoyed this book and was shocked when I came to the end wanting more of their story. I give Heat 5 O’s (O’s for Orgasms).

“How about we give you boys a little something?” I hear Roxie say from the
other sofa. “Hell yeah,” Mason growls. Cole looks up at me. “Let me
see that sexy body of yours Lacey.” It’s like I want to do anything he
wants me to. Without thinking I get up from the sofa and walk to Roxie, who is
already standing in the middle of the two sofas. She puts her arms around my
shoulders and smiles over at Cole and Mason. “Lacey and I have had many
lonely nights together.” She trails her hand softly up the side of my
body. She licks my cheek and says, “I love hearing her scream.” I
hear Mason groan and I laugh as Roxie slaps my bottom. I trail my finger from
her throat and down to the swell of her breasts. “You scream just as loud
Rox.” “Fuck.” I turn at the sound of Cole. He has his hand on
his crotch. I grab a fistful of Roxie’s hair and pull it to tilt her head back.
She knows exactly what I’m doing and lets her mouth fall open. I lick across
her soft lips and then Roxie takes my mouth. We passionately kiss, just like
many times before but this time we have two very sexy men watching us. I reach
up and grab Roxie’s breast, squeezing hard because I know she likes it. I feel
a body press against me from behind and I know its Cole. I see Mason turn Roxie
around just before Cole turns me to face him. He kisses me wickedly and reaches
behind me to unfasten my dress. He pulls the zipper down very slowly kissing
along my jaw as he does. His eyes burn me from the inside when he looks at me
in my black lacy underwear, then he gives me a very sexy smile. “Lacey in
What happens when
you discover the guy you’ve been seeing is a rock star? Well that’s what
happened to Lacey when she met Cole; now she’s forgiven him she’s agreed to go
on tour with his band.
On tour she has to cope with Cole’s fame, his skanky groupies and getting to
know the rest of the band.Roxie, on the other hand, has a totally different dilemma. Not only is she
quickly finding out her feelings for Lacey are a lot stronger than she thought,
but she has to watch her with Cole. She’s also falling for Cole’s brother,
Mason, but how can she love two people? Unable to cope with everything she
seeks solace in drinking; leading to some huge mistakes that she may not be
forgiven for.

Ignite is the second installment in the Black Inferno saga. Book two picks up where the first book left off. Lacey is devastated to find out the guy that she met at the club the night of her birthday and whom she has been spending a lot of time with is really the front man for the famous rock group Cole from Black Inferno.

The guy Lacey’s roommate Rox has spending time with is Cole’s brother Mason and is the lead guitarist for the band. After Rox, Mason and Cole are able to convince Lacey to forgive Cole they all embark on a month tour. Two women and four guys on a tour bus is a recipe for trouble and to make matters more interesting add in the newness of being on tour with a famous band, the paparazzi and the groupies. The girls experience things that have negative consequences.

The story was well told, interesting and faced paced. The sex once again did not disappoint. Ignite was an all around good story; I was really pleased with book and it ended in such away I was satisfied. I am looking forward to the next book. Once again I have to give this book 5 O’s

I love reading, it’s my favourite hobby. I’ve always had ideas for my
own books packed into my head so I thought I would write them out for people to
