Sabrina Mansfield is compelled to be a professional
ballerina for reasons she can’t explain. Ballet grounds her, completes her like
no other activity, and attending dance camp in Boston is more than a dream come
true. Her summer is full of amazing experiences, dancing, and laughter.
She didn’t expect to fall in love…
When Christopher “Chase” Ralston graduates at the top of his
class from West Point, his only aspiration is to follow in his late father’s
footsteps and join the elite Green Berets. He expects to spend his summer leave
visiting with family and friends before heading off for training.
Love is the last thing on his mind, but a glimpse of a young
woman has him questioning his desire to remain single.
Banished because he dared to become more than human, Vamar
Thilduri has been waiting, plotting his revenge against Kronos, the father of
the Immortals, for two thousand years.
Nothing and no one will stand in the way of what he wants.
And he wants Sabrina.
***Please note this book is considered dark erotica. If you
don’t like, or are uncomfortable with, dark, taboo, twisted subjects, this is
probably not the story for you.***
Master of My Body by Marissa Honeycutt
Tanya Rae’s rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow Marissa Honeycutt you started off this series with a BANG! Master of My Body: Finding Sabrina, Part One is the first book in the new series!
If you have read Ms. Honeycutt’s first series The Life of Anna you will know her books are not for the faint of heart! This new series is a dark erotic paranormal and it is so good!
Vamar Thilduri is an evil Immortal who has come back in Damian Sinclair’s body. Vamar rivals Devin (In Life of Anna) in being very EVIL.
Chase Ralston meets Sabrina early on when she was just 16. Now fast-forward 10 years. And, if you love dark books then you need to read this book. Especially if you have read Marissa Honeycutt’s earlier books in The Life of Anna. Only because you will know how dark this book is as well.
I loved Master of My Body and I know I am going to love this new series. This author knows how to write to make you want to read more from her.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I give Master of My Body 5 stars and can’t wait until the next book is out!

I enjoyed this book.my Marissa Honeycutt. I did my best not to compare it with the Life of Anna.
Vamar was exiled to the Dark Place for two thousand years. In that time he had more than enough time to plot his revenge on those who wronged him. Finally crossing back Vamar has to lay low until he is finally able to expose himself and pay back Krono. Christopher “Chase” Ralston followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the military. On the night of his graduation he sees Sabrina. He does not know what it is about her but she draws him in completely. Not pleased with their age difference, Chase tries so hard to keep his thoughts and feelings about her pure. Sabrina who is a ballot dancer catches the eyes of Chase. In town for a ballot program she’s confident that the company will want her after she finishes high school. On the night before Chase had to leave Sabrina makes a promise to wait for him. What Sabrina does not know is that someone else already has plans for her and the future. Tragedy sticks as soon as Sabrina goes back home and Chase is left wondering what happened. Will Chase think that Sabrina couldn’t wait or will he find out the truth about what happened when she got him? Will Sabrina survive long enough for Chase to rescue her?
I was drawn into this look and I truly enjoyed it. I did not want to stop reading. After reading The Life of Anna I did not know what to expect. If it was going to be the same or different. I felt that this book was not as dark but not your hearts and roses either. I can’t want to continue this series so I can see how things play out between Chase, Sabrina, and Vamar. My only complaint is that I wish the book was longer. I felt that I read it too fast.
