Canyonβs life changed completely when his dad left to be with his best friend who happens to be Alisterβs dad. With his life out of control Canyon decides to get revenge on the adults thru Alister, only he didnβt expect Alister to hold his own against him. While it looks like Alisterβs life is perfect there is a part of him that stays fearful of his future. Feeling like he has to be the perfect son to keep the family heβs always wanted, Alister canβt afford to let Canyon to mess things up. With Canyon and Alister spending more time together they start to see that there is a lot more to each other than they expected and thatβs not good considering their dad is about to get married. Sometimes the right decisions doesnβt feel as good as the wrong ones. Will Canyon and Alister be able to keep their secret or will things blow up and both boys will lose more than they ever expected?
Canyon and Alister was so much fun to read about. I loved the chemistry between them. Some could consider this a bully romance. Honestly when I think of Canyon I picture a sour patch kid because he was hot and cold to Alister. One day heβs out for revenge and for blood then heβs all sweet to him. Alister is awesome! He doesnβt let Canyon bully him in any way. Heβs able to give just as much as he gets. K. Webster did an amazing job of making me live these characters. I kept thinking about them days after I finished reading this book. I most definitely recommend this book to others who enjoy bully/enemies to lovers romance. I canβt wait to read more from this author!
