Well, I about threw my Kindle at the wall with that ending! Have I actually said I kind of like cliffhangers. I must be crazy! I was not ready for this book to end! But end it did and now I am anxiously awaiting Shackled Hearts, Book 2 in this duet series.

Sinful Hands is the first book in the Lucas and Chanel Duet, which is a spinoff it was good to be able to catch up and read more about Keir (Lucas’ cousin) Sailor who had their story told in both Chained Hands and Locked Hearts, the Chained Hearts Duet.

Lucas is a bad man. He is the antihero in this story! People don’t cross him or look at him funny because he is likely to kill you. Chanel comes into his club to get her brother and take him home. She knows that it might be a problem. Chanel has been working as a prostitute just to make ends meet. She has her own secrets. Lucas has eyes for her and won’t let her go. Of course their chemistry together is off the charts.

I really enjoyed reading Sinful Hands. TL Smith does a dark book right! She knows just what draws a reader in! When an author makes me want to throw my Kindle that means I was emotionally invested in the story! Another 5 STAR read according to me!!! Now will you please hurry up with Shackled Hearts! Maybe release it early. PLEASE!

Sinful Hands ( Lucas and Chanel Duet#1)(Chained Hearts Duet #3) by T.L Smith. Chanel is a prostitute who does what she has to do to take care of her younger brother Brody. When Chanel goes to the last place she wanted to go to inorder to save her brother, she comes across Lucas. Lucas is a something else. His code when it comes to women is their smell.  If the ladys smells right he will bed her but if her smell changes than they are as good as dead. Chanel knows his reputation and when Lucas shows an interest in her she is weary of him. Chanel doesn’t want to be his next victim.  Unfortunately for Chanel Lucas is persistent and when he gives her something she has never experienced, she is hooked.  She knows she is in trouble dealing with Lucas and when she discovers more about Lucas she knows she needs to stay away. Their cat and mouse, hot and cold  relationship is quite entertaining and the sex is even hotter. Lucas is from this author’s previous duet Chained Hearts. It is not necessary to read that series inorder to read this duet. However you will meet Lucas and other characters there and the Chained Hearts Duet are some really good reading. This book does end in a cliffhanger I definitely didn’t see coming. This author has me chomping at the bit for the next book.  I was left with my mind blown. Once again I Didn’t see that coming.  Wow!!! 4.5 stars for me.

Bettina’s Book Review: 3.5 Stars

Sinful Hands was a quick and enjoyable read. Keir and Sailor appear in this book. If you want to know who they are I highly recommend reading their books first (Chained Hands and Locked Heart). At first I had a hard time remembering Lucas but then I remembered who he was in Keir’s books. This book held my attention just enough to keep me interested. I will be honest the ending did catch me off guard and has me wondering what will happen in book two. Chanel is not your typical girl and I like that. I can’t wait to see what she does to get back at those who crossed her wrong!
