Foolish Dreams: An Enemies To Lovers Second Chance Romance by Jeana E. Mann. Vanessa Seaforth has come back to the states to take over her father’s embattled company. At her first meeting she runs into someone from her past. Cameron Blackwood hasn’t seen Vanessa since she walked out on him 12 years ago. Now she is back and she has the job that should have been his. He is not happy about that and he is still hurt due to the way things ended. Vanessa and Cameron both try and keep their composure. Each remember their last meeting from 2 different situations. Each has bitter feelings about what happened and one has a secret. The story is told in flash back. One minute we are in the present as the 2 try and navigate their love/hate feelings and then we are transported back to when they first met and how they got to the where they are now. I really enjoyed this book. Was quite emotional. The chemistry between the two was straight up fire. Each had their own demons. A 4. 5 star read for.
