Sovereign: A Dark Bratva Forced Marriage by Jane Henry is the story of Aria. She is a professor by day and hacker at night. When her nighttime activities have her on the run, she has to come up with a plan. Running to her friend Tatiana, Tatiana suggests she goes to a very dangerous man for protection. Mikhail is the head of the Romanov family and soon to become Pakhan. There is just one problem. He needs a wife, and his last 3 fiances have been killed. When a beautiful little hacker comes into his office for protection, he is instantly smitten. In spite of the premise of the story, I loved it. The characters were interesting, and their chemistry was off the chart. Their journey was not only interesting, but it put a smile on my face. It is something to see a rough and tough guy fall to pieces for a woman. I especially look forward to the next book in the series. I am even more curious to see who the book will be based on. Hopefully, we will see Aria and Mikhail again. 4.5 stars for me.
